UN High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF)

The 2019 session of the HLPF, convened under the auspices of the Economic and Social Council, will be held from July 9th to 18th. 

The High-level Political Forum is the United Nations' central platform for follow-up and review of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and provides for the full and effective participation of all States Members of the UN and States members of specialized agencies. 

The 2019 theme will be "Empowering people and ensuring inclusiveness and equality". The set of goals to be reviewed in depth are SDGs 4, 8, 10, 13, 16 and 17.
