The International Partnership on Religion and Sustainable Development (PaRD) brings together members from all over the world in order to harness the positive impact of religion and values in sustainable development and humanitarian assistance. PaRD aims at greater and institutionalized communication and coordination between secular and non-secular actors to contribute towards a more coherent and effective international agenda on religion and development.

Members are governmental, intergovernmental entities as well as Faith-Based Organizations (FBO) and Civil Society Organizations (CSO) active in the field of religion and development and/or humanitarian assistance.

PaRD is free to join. The key investment of our members is their active participation in our global partnership.
PaRD brings together members from all over the world in order to harness the positive impact of religion and values in sustainable development. It is free to join and free to use, but does not offer any kind of financing.
PaRD aims at greater and institutionalized communication and coordination between secular and non-secular actors, while fostering new synergies through cooperation of its members and partners. In addition, PaRD uses synergies with existing networks and initiatives to contribute towards a more coherent and effective international agenda on religion and development. As a results-driven partnership, PaRD focuses on joint activities in the following areas of cooperation:

The working programme is decided on during PaRD's annual meeting. Members discuss issues and propose activities before the working programme is finalised by our members.

The PaRD Secretariat supports the members in implementing the goals of PaRD and its working programme. The Secretariat's offices are located at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in Bonn and Berlin.
