The Christoffel-Blindenmission (CBM) is an international development organisation working with people with disabilities. It is named for Ernst Jakob Christoffel who in the early 20th century engaged in helping people with disabilities in the Middle East. CBM is aiming at breaking the vicious circle that is connecting poverty and disabiliities in many regions of the world. They pursue to create better quality of life and equal opportunities for people with disabilities.
