The Cordoba Foundation of Geneva, referring to Cordoba, the city known for coexistence and tolerance, aims to promote dialogue between cultures and civilizations and to foster research and debates on conflict transformation related issues. Created in 2002, the CFG considers that there is a lack in human capital, mechanisms and institutions working on non-violent conflict transformation, and aiming at promoting constructive dialogue amongst and between actors in the Arab and Muslim Worlds. The foundation works with an extensive network of partners including think thanks, civil society organizations, research centers, foundations, governments, and individuals among others to initiate and/or support activities that build trust and favor mutual respect and reconciliation.
