Faith- and community-based organizations confront Africa's COVID-19 spike

USAID online discussion

While some parts of the world are debating how quickly to reopen their societies, confirmed cases in Africa are rising at a rate of approximately 7.5 percent per day. Nearly half of the hospitals and clinics in Africa are organized or funded by faith-based groups. Two of them will join USAID leaders to discuss their perspectives on balancing priorities, confronting the growing threat to the continent, and the outlook for the future.
