The Coalition for Religious Equality and Inclusive Development (CREID), a member of PaRD along with its host organisation, the Institute of Development Studies is holding an event entitled "The evidence we can’t ignore: religious inequality and Covid-19 in India, Nigeria and beyond" on International Freedom of Religion and Belief day (1pm – 2pm BST / 2-3pm CEST, Wednesday 27 October 2021).
New research on the immediate and long-term impacts of COVID-19 on religious communities will be presented during the event, looking at Nigeria and India in more detail, but also discussing broader implications. Speakers include UN Special Rapporteur on FoRB, Ahmed Shaheed, and the UK Special Envoy on FoRB, Fiona Bruce, MP.
