Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA)

'Kementerian Agama' or the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) is an Indonesian government agency responsible for religious affairs in Indonesia. The ministry reports to the president and is headed by a minister. MoRA's responsibilities include formulating, determining and implementing policies in the area of guidance to Islamic, Christian, Hindu, Buddhist and Confucianist communities as well as religious and faith-based education. The development objectives of the Ministry of Religious Affairs include improving the understanding and practice of religious teachings, and improving access to education for all sections of society at various levels of education.
