Dan Church Aid (DCA)

Dan Church Aid (Danish: Folkekirkens Nødhjælp) is a Danish humanitarian non governmental organisation aimed at supporting the world’s poorest. It was founded in 1922, and is rooted in the Danish National Evangelical Lutheran Church. They work closely with a long list of faith-based organisations and local partners around the world and they are part of ACT Allicance. Dan Church Aid supports the poorest in the world in their struggle for a dignified life and helps people in need. They provide emergency relief in disaster-stricken areas and long-term assistance in the poor regions to create a more equitable and sustainable world.
