The seventieth session of the Commission on the Status of Women will take place at United Nations Headquarters in New York from 9 to 19 March 2026. Representatives of Member States, UN entities, and ECOSOC-accredited non-governmental organizations (NGOs) from all regions of the world are invited to attend the session.

Under the theme “The Future of Global Health” CUGH 2026 will address current and future threats to global health, sustainable development, and identify how global health can be more impactful, equitable, and effective.

The conference will address new and emerging issues, and the urgent need to fully implement the Sustainable Development Goals, and support reform of the international financial architecture.

The third meeting of the Board of Champions of Global Alliance against Hunger and Poverty will take place on the margins of the OECD Conference on the Future of International Development Co-operation on 11-12 May 2026. During the meeting, Alliance Champions will review progress and discuss how to respond to the changing aid environment to deliver progress on hunger and poverty when it matters most.

The Hamburg Sustainability Conference (HSC) stands as a catalyst for global change, dedicated to forging partnerships and developing innovative solutions for today’s most urgent challenges. With a clear mission to drive sustainable change and accelerate the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the HSC provides a platform where ideas and visions are translated into concrete solutions for measurable progress.

The theme of the HLPF will be “Transformative, equitable, innovative and coordinated actions for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its Sustainable Development Goals for a sustainable future for all”. The 2026 HLPF with full appreciation for the integrated, indivisible and interlinked nature of the Sustainable Development Goals, will conduct in-depth reviews of: SDG 6, 7, 9, 11, 17.

The WSF 2026 is a global gathering of civil society organizations, activists, grassroots movements, academics, and community leaders who come together to discuss and promote alternative solutions to global social, economic, and environmental challenges. Established as a counterpoint to the World Economic Forum, the WSF provides an open, inclusive, and participatory space to exchange ideas and build networks for social justice, peace, human rights, and sustainable development.

The 2026 Conference will once again provide a forum for the sharing of ideas, presentation of research findings, and discussion of professional issues relevant to Sustainability Science.

Geneva Peace Week (GPW) is a leading annual forum in the international peacebuilding calendar through which organizations in Geneva and their international partners come together to share knowledge and practice on a diverse range of topics related to peace across contexts and disciplines. Geneva Peace Week offers an opportunity to connect and highlight the work of peacebuilders and to expand the space for each and every person, actor and institution that has a role to play in building peace and resolving conflict.

The Annual Meetings traditionally are held in Washington, D.C. two years out of three and, in order to reflect the international character of the two institutions, every third year in a different member country. In addition to the meetings of the Boards of Governors, the Development Committee and the International Monetary and Financial Committee (IMFC) are officially convened. The Development Committee and the IMFC advise the Boards of Governors on issues of global concern, including the world economic outlook, poverty eradication, economic development, and aid effectiveness.

The 2026 UN Climate Change Conference will convene from 9-20 November in Antalya, Türkiye.
