RWTH Aachen University is the largest technical university in Germany located in Aachen, North Rhine-Westphalia with more than 47,000 students enrolled in 144 study programs. The Research Programme on Religion and Sustainable Development works transdisciplinary and transreligious. It is headed by Prof. Axel Siegemund and seeks to actively contribute to the SDG goals, especially in cooperation with African and Asian countries. It investigates the potential of religious and Indigenious groups for development, equality and sustainability together with engineering and sciences. This includes a Master´s programme “Theology and Global development” in German language and research cooperation with academic partners in the Global South.
