PaRD General Assembly of Members and Annual Forum 2026
Theme: Beyond Partnership: Faith in Development for the Next Decade
General Assembly of Members: 10–11 October 2026
Annual Forum: 12 October 2026
Bangkok, Thailand
The 2026 PaRD General Assembly of Members (GAM) and Annual Forum on Religion and Sustainable Development takes place at an important point in the development of the International Partnership on Religion and Sustainable Development (PaRD). Ten years after its establishment, PaRD has become a unique platform that brings together governmental entities, faith-based organisations, multilateral entities, academia and civil society to strengthen the visibility of contributions by faith actors to sustainable development. As PaRD prepares for its future, this year’s Assembly and Forum will focus on how the partnership can build on the experience of the past decade and prepare for the years ahead.
In cooperation with longstanding PaRD member Institute of Buddhist Management for Happiness and Peace Foundation (IBHAP), the #AF26 is hosted in Bangkok, Thailand, a city renowned for its religious diversity, vibrant civil society, and longstanding engagement in regional and global development cooperation. Situated at the crossroads of Buddhist, Muslim, Christian, Hindu, Sikh and other faith traditions, Bangkok reflects the diversity and inclusiveness that has always been at the heart of PaRD’s mission and provides an inspiring setting to shape PaRD’s future.
