The language of human rights is increasingly contested and controversial, within the world of international policy but also within religious institutions and faith communities.
On Human Rights Day, December 10th, the virtual event aims to surface the tension and engage in an open and positive conversation around faith and human rights.
Speakers include:
Rev. Dr. Martin Junge (Lutheran World Federation), Deepika Singh (Religions for Peace), Gloria Mafole (Christian Council of Tanzania and Side by Side Tanzania), Patrick Watt (Christian Aid), Hanbeet Rhee (Thursdays in Black, World Council of Churches), Rev. Lusmarina Campos Garcia (ACT Alliance) and Daniel Seymour (UN Women). The discussion will be moderated by Eva Ekelund (Act Church of Sweden). Please sign up to this event via the Eventbrite page.
