Arigatou International conducts this study in collaboration with the Office of the UN Special Representative of the Secretary General on Violence against Children.
The study will be presented in November 2019 and aims to contribute to the further promotion of the 1989 Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) through opportunities for interreligious dialogue that reinforce common values between the CRC and the different religious communities.
One of the ways through which the study aims to address these common values is by highlighting practices and actions undertaken by religious communities and faith-based/religious organisations that influence the outcomes of the CRC implementation since its adoption and ratification either at the level of programming, advocacy, networking, or partnerships.
Arigatou and its partners invite you to contribute to the study by filling in the following questionnaire, which seeks to inform the drafting team of the study about the practices and initiatives that your faith community or faith-based/religious organisation carries out in relation to child rights issues.
Your interest and participation is highly appreciated by the organizers.
Deadline: 15 February, 2019.
