WCC urges everyone to pray at home
WCC general secretary Rev. Dr Olav Fykse Tveit and the moderator of the WCC Central Committee Dr Agnes Abuom urged people and churches to give highest priority to “doing whatever we can do to protect life” and ”ask churches not to have public services”.

KAICIID fellows worldwide take measures
KAICIID has offered an overview on how its fellows worldwide take measures to prevent from COVID-19. Christians are no longer sharing sacramental wine, Jews have been asked not to kiss mezuzahs and Torah scrolls, and Hindus were advised to throw colored powder rather than press it directly onto people’s faces during the recent Holi festival. Since Ramadan is coming up, they also have to figure out how they supply dates and food to help isolated people break the fast.
