New Study on the Rights of the Child

The World Bank invites practitioners and policymakers from around the world to submit proposals for the Fragility Forum 2020 in Washington DC from March 2nd to 4th. The deadline is November 22nd, 2019.

The launch of the study Faith and Children’s Rights” is co-organized by Arigatou International Geneva, UNICEF, KAICIID, World Vision International, OHCHR, the Committee on the Rights of the Child, and other partners. In a panel discussion, the findings of the study will be presented and participants will reflect on the way forward for strengthening the CRC’s implementation and the critical role of religious communities in this context. The panel will bring together children’s rights experts, different religious leaders, representatives of UN agencies, faith-based organizations and civil society organizations.

They will share practical ways in which the recommendations of the study can be brought to religious communities and other partners for implementing them at a national, regional and global level.

Registration for this event is open until November 18th.
