The IRF Summit brings together a broad coalition of partners that passionately supports religious freedom around the globe for an annual two-day in-person event in Washington, D.C. These 90+ organizations represent over 30 distinct faith traditions and are the core of the civil society movement to advance international religious freedom around the globe.

World Interfaith Harmony Week is an annual event observed during the first week of February, since the General Assembly designation in 2010. The General Assembly pointed out that mutual understanding and interreligious dialogue constitute important dimensions of a culture of peace and established World Interfaith Harmony Week as a way to promote harmony between all people regardless of their faith.

Under the theme “Transformative, equitable, innovative and coordinated actions for the 2030 Agenda and its SDGs for a sustainable future for all” the Forum will place a special emphasis on the Sustainable Development Goals under in-depth review at the 2026 high-level political forum on sustainable development (HLPF), namely Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), Goal 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), Goal 9 (Industry Innovation and Infrastructure), Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).

This session will formally launch the Global Faith-Based Nutrition Dialogue Report, introduce the Faith Leaders’ Joint Statement on the Right to Food and Nutrition, and outline next steps for mobilisation and action across the Partnership. The session will also feature reflections from World Vision field offices involved in the dialogue process, alongside insights from our strategic faith partners, Caritas Internationalis and the World Council of Churches.

World leaders from government, business, civil society and academia will convene in Davos to engage in forward-looking discussions to address global issues and set priorities.
